Technology We Use

  • *Monday.com: Project management (internal and shared with clients), finance tracking, master CRM and so much more

    • A note from our CEO, Annie Sanchez — Monday.com is an Israeli company based in Tel Aviv. I have always known this since I started using it back in 2015 when I ran a nonprofit. It’s always been in the back of my mind, and I wasn’t thinking about it until recently. On October 9, 2023 Monday.com posted a public statement. On November 29, 2023 my small team completed a massive internal tech project we’ve been working on since March 2023. A project anchored by Monday.com. My head was immersed in this project while also watching the unfolding in Gaza and publicly standing with Palestine. We celebrated the completion of our project and later that day I saw Monday.com’s post on Instagram. The. Exact. Same. Day. Imagine my devastation. On December 5, 2023 I contacted Monday.com’s CEOs asking about their current thoughts and position, given the unfolding before the world’s eyes. I received a benign response fit for a public company with shareholders.

    • As of December 12, 2023, I am sharing all of this with clients and no longer encouraging people to get on Monday.com. If they or you choose to stay or get on Monday.com for the first time, I encourage applying for the free nonprofit account if applicable. And, I will continue to advise and build out boards and integrations for my clients who use Monday.com. However, I am recommending that consideration be made in other project management SaaS companies. Here are 4 I am looking at, curious about and/or have experience with:

      • Click Up (I like what I see)

      • Asana (I don’t love the interface)

      • Notion (I like it enough, it has its limitations and is less sophisticated than the others from what I can tell)

      • Trello (I like the price but not the interface)

      • Jira (I like the price but not the interface or the fact that a more UX friendly version costs more)

  • Acuity: We use for scheduling ALL meetings, client sessions, and processing workshop registration and payments (integrates with invoicing platforms, Google Analytics among many others)

  • Zoom: Virtual meetings (integrates with Acuity)

  • *Canva Pro: Graphics in emails and social media

  • Adobe DC: Contract management

  • QuickBooks: Bookkeeping

  • Stripe: Credit card processor integrated with Acuity

  • *ConvertKit: CRM/email marketing

  • Shopify: E-commerce for Clarity Pages

  • Squarespace: This website and client portal

  • *Hello Audio: Public and private podcast feeds

  • Zapier: Makes all the technology that doesn’t talk to each other talk to each other. Automates over 100 tasks a week on average.
