Your team matters.

Your work matters.

You are a team of human beings with whole lives outside of your work.

Stepping away to rest together, build relationships and simply be with each other can be so profound and deeply healing for everyone, including top leadership.

On a Restorative Staff Retreat, you will:

  • Deepen connections with each other, even if you all get along really well!

  • Pause intentionally, giving those brilliant brains and those busy bodies a break.

  • Strengthen communication with each other.

  • Build trust.

  • Figure out some stuff. Gently yet strategically, teams in Annie’s care figure out and courageously share stuff like personal needs, priorities, values and goals. This matters because leadership tend to be in the dark about what staff deeply care about as whole humans.

I feel free, like now I can be my true self around all of you guys.

Hi there,

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Annie Sanchez, that’s me there in the yellow sweatshirt facilitating a staff retreat.

Whether you’re leading a team or part of one as a staff member, I gather you’re here because you know your team needs a break.

A beautiful step now that you know it is to do what you’re doing here, researching.

  • Who facilities staff retreats?

  • What kind of retreat do we need?

  • What do we need?

  • What do we want out of a retreat?

All good questions.

What I know having facilitated team-building retreats, strategic planning retreats, wellness retreats, women's retreats, workshops, boards of directors, entrepreneurs, moms, corporate people, nonprofit people, business people, and so many more is that all people, and I mean all people, want and need the same three things:

  1. To be heard.

  2. To be seen.

  3. To be understood.

I see these three things as one: being witnessed.

Everyone wants to be witnessed with respect and attention.

You got me out of my shell these last few days. It’s hard to be an extrovert but knowing and hearing you all, I feel heard. I don’t feel alone.

We all have dreams, goals, worries and concerns outside of our work. Obviously, right. But dominant culture has made us believe we’re not allowed to hold the reality of our personal lives alongside our work lives.

But, we are whole humans — we are not our work.

You are not your work. Your team is not their work. I am not my work.

We are whole people who experience the same emotions and noodle on our thoughts, worries and inspiration.

I love nothing more than helping people who have their guard up (for good reason) to feel safe.

I create unique one-of-a-kind staff retreats with purpose based on my clients’s wants and needs. The experience is curated, facilitated and guided with care, love, detail and possibility, tied with a bow of deep rest and a touch of luxury to ensure your people feel special in more ways than one.

I’m a skilled coach and experienced facilitator with a unique ability to create beautiful spaces and guide sacred, transformational experiences. This is my zone of genius.

The magic of my retreats is in the possibility we’ll uncover.

Clarity does not come from thinking. All the strategies for the work that you do will only become more clear and well-resourced with a rested team.

You will rest your minds, your bodies, your mouths, your typing fingers and texting thumbs, your eyes, your heart, your whole selves.

Let’s have a call to discuss what you want and need out of a restorative staff retreat. Find time on my calendar below.

Investment starts at $15,000 and will tangibly transform your team.

A lot that I shared were things I wasn’t being fully honest with myself about (my dream/goal). Being in this vulnerable space makes me feel empowered and want to work on myself. Something in me woke up. I’m having a reckoning. I want to make a change for myself. I have an inner fire.

I feel fortunate. I was having panic attacks at my old job, in the parking lot trying to catch my breath. I’m very proud to be part of this team.

I feel challenged, in a good way. Pushing myself into more uncomfortable spaces.

I’ve been curating experiences for nearly 20 years and guiding people as a coach and facilitator for 8 years.

My zone of magic lives at the divine intersection of event production (celebrity weddings off the beaten path and concerts in NYC to intimate wine tastings and complex fundraisers) and leading ceremonial and sacred group space (nearly 100 group coaching and retreat spaces to officiating “the best wedding ceremony ever”).

I don’t subscribe to a template approach to such important work. I have my modalities and tried and true methods, sure, but every retreat I host is highly personalized for the people I am guiding.

You can count on a gorgeous, highly detailed, customized and transformative experience.

I’d love to talk. I want to hear what’s going on with your team and compelling you to consider a retreat.

Sending you so much love,
Annie
